IEA: More Renewable Investment Required to Stabilise European Energy Markets
More Renewable Energy in Europe would deepen the energy rut as its Renewable Energy that has caused this crisis in the first place. If Renewable Energy came with the storage to cover their intermittency, then much of this problem would not exist. But as we have seen this storage will have to be able to cover weeks of low or no renewable production. The price tag for this would be astronomical. We would have to spend every single Euro we have on storage and it would not be enough. We will very likely go further down the wrong path until the pain becomes unbearable.
