As soon as any person reaches a certain threshold of power or wealth, a filtration bubble forms around him. Only sycophants make it to them and they will always tell them how great and wonderful they are. One day they start to believe their own crap. It’s the same for very beautiful women that one day ask themselves why they only ever get the worst specimen of men. Decent men don’t even make it to them. They get filtered out early. People like Kerry who are so far removed from reality should not lead us. They should spend their time golfing and spending their fortunes. And leave reality to us who know it well.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
