LNG freight rates continue to slide in both basins

Slide? Sounds like they fall into an abyss. When in fact they are still sky high, just a bit less sky-high than before. It’s still more than 300K a day when 30K a day is not long in the past. So stop the whining – we are living in a world that makes energy unaffordium. When industries fail, when people stop consuming because they can’t, how long do you think you will get any day rates at all?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
