Mines, Minerals, and “Green” Energy: A Reality Check

It is high time for a serious discussion on the total environmental footprint of anything. I know this is going to get ugly as there will be lots of opinions and they need reconciliation which is a witch’s brew but I would rather have it than letting the renewable folks off the leash permanently. They should be forced to own the destruction they cause and they should face the public opprobrium they usually met out to others. The jug is up.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
