Nigeria must navigate gas pipeline project risk

In the minds of people, a steel pipe between the source and the consumption center is the best way to transport gas. And sometimes it is. It becomes unwieldy if you have to cross one transit country. It becomes impossibly complicated with two. The Nigeria – Morocco Gas pipeline has 11. Each one might throw a fuss at any given time and make the project either more expensive or impossible altogether. What are the odds for something to go wrong? Trans-Sahara on the other side crosses Two Northern African countries before Europe can be eyed plus it must also cross northern Nigeria which often works out like an extra transit country. I am just getting started. LNG is much faster, much cheaper, and much more certain.
