Nuclear Power to Be Replaced with LNG, Renewable Energy Powers

That will sure get LNG project promoters salivating. Thats a very big market with very big new needs and contrary to China South Korea is not on the ropes. But wait, if SK wants more LNG, they will also need more flexibility services. because power needs in SK are seasonal and a big part of the swing has been covered by coal so far. LNG is much harder to store if you have no underground storage. And as only Europe can provide this flexibility, maybe Kogas should talk to some European players for potential JV’s.
