Ohio train derailment: Rail firm pulls out of meeting with residents

The Hydrogen crowd seems to be dead set on using ammonia to make H2 transportable. Let’s play this through. Let’s imagine this Ohio train would have been filled with ammonia. Let’s imagine a large ammonia tanker would have a spill event close to a coast where people live. Ammonia is a dangerous substance and will kill you. Listen up investors – as soon as regulators latch onto this, they will put so much regulation on ammonia (and some other stuff) that it will be all but impossible to do. Really wanna sink your bucks into this?
