Oil leaders at Davos debate tougher CO₂ cuts as pressure mounts

They still think they can slide through that crap without getting buggered. I have news for you folks – the alarmists are out for your butts. They want to kill everything that’s Oil and Gas and they don’t care if they throw the whole world in the dumpster while doing so. Oh OK, I get it. You guys think that even if this does not blow over, it might not get out of control on your watch and you can leave this mess to your successors. So some placebo talk and marketing financed action might well save your bonus sheet. But it won’t save the day. The right thing to do would be to confront the prophets of doom head-on. Show the people what the real options are and how unreal this climate crapshow really is. But this takes cojones.
