The best remedy against ruinous policies is giving the people an early unfiltered taste of what’s to come. Not some explanations or graphs or even movies but the real unaltered thing. Give people what they say they want, give it to them fast; and see what happens. We had a series of people here in Central Europe that all thought they knew better what’s good for the people. The results were disastrous in every single case. No to that.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
