It speaks to the disconnect of politicians from the normal population when those that are under a lot of pain still get kicked in the ear, every day and always. Any rationally thinking person must have come to the conclusion by now that curtailing oil supply through regulation will lead to price rises. That shoveling money into the economy will lead to inflation. That giving in to extremists will lead to ever more extremist demands. Either those politicians are evil to the core or they are living in a totally different world.
