Rishi Sunak’s net zero targets are ‘path to ruin’, says leading Tory MP

Is this what Brits wanted when they gave Boris and the Tories the biggest landslide victory in memory? I doubt that. Brits wanted to get out of Europe and they wanted to get things done and have some folks work on solutions for their daily ills. They voted for the apparently no-nonsense Boris because they were sick of high-minded endless virtue-signaling ivory-tower policies that cost them a lot and make them miserable. They had a bad deal. But even when the Tories get kicked to the curb at the next election – what would the alternative be? The Socialists are even worse. There are votes to be had for someone else.
