Natural Gas and especially LNG is a decadal project structure. It often takes a decade to develop such a project so being driven by mid-term political events is probably not the best stance for such a developer. They must work for the world after the war no matter the result. That being said, even without the war I was never very optimistic about the commercials for any of those LNG projects. Doing anything in the deep Arctic has a price tag and markets need to be really sky-high for that to be covered and they have not been that high that often. But a good Ponzi must go on and on. I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
