Again one of those pesky studies that establish recent periods that have been quite a deal warmer than today. There are many, many more and we have a ton of historical evidence that in this day and age we are living in comparatively frigid times. Ancient Romans basked in a much warmer climate. So did our medieval ancestors for a few hundred years. Or the ancient Egyptians thousands of years before now. Our knowledge of shorter swings is much better now as the recording of events got better, not because they are more frequent now.
