More than 90% of all plastic trash comes from a handful of rivers in Asia and Africa. Create a border adjustment tax that puts a price on any product that comes from any of those countries that cause the problem in the first place. Won’t take long and it stops. We don’t always need technology. Smarter policy will do the trick.
