The Tiny, Simple Nuclear Reactor That Could Change Energy

That sounds great. Can the nuclear experts here tell me how realistic this is? From a technical point of view and also whats the economics? I understand that those plants will be manufactured and bought to the location of use and potentially be buried until they are spent. Am I wrong here? Central manufacturing holds a lot of appeal to me. How about safety – proliferation? Would terrorists be able to access them and use the radioactive material?

The next step in nuclear power is 1/100th the size of today's reactors.
