Trump Plans Call With Putin to Discuss Falling Oil Prices

Trump cannot do what Putin can do. When Putin decides to cut back on oil production, he directs some underlings to do what he says and there is a reasonably decent chance that this will happen. In the US, the oil industry is private and they don’t have to take orders from the president. Many won’t. Of course, he could make life harder for them but I doubt that’s what he wants. So, we are back at case one. This has to be resolved in another way.
