U.S. natural gas prices soar 10% as cold winter forecasts develop

You call that soar? The spread between the European average and Henry Hub is about USD 25.- right now. Thats about 5 times the gas price in the US and there is a pretty decent chance that we might be staying this high or maybe slightly lower this winter. That’s high gas prices. Europeans would do quite a lot of things to have lower prices but then again, maybe we don’t. As the relatively much lower gas prices in the US are a result of entrepreneurs developing new production technology and applying it. Europe is better at virtue signaling and will pay a price for that. Be happy with your USD 5.
