Despite having left the Paris accords under the last president, the US emissions picture got better every year. The US had beaten big stalwarts of renewable energy such as Germany very handily as most increased their emissions while the US reduced them. Shale gas did that. Based on the evidence we should increase gas consumption before we do anything else in energy. It’s good for your wallet too.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
