Wake Up, West – a new energy world order is building, fast

Yes, a new world order is building but it’s not OPEC or Asian nations that drive it. They are rather desperate to find their place in this new world and scramble to position themselves. In this new world order, North America with its still healthy demographics and its cheap and bountiful energy will thrive, the Russian, as well as Chinese empires, will fall apart, Europe will be in the doldrums and there will be a food crisis in parts of the world. The US Navy will dominate the oceans even more but the US will disengage from many parts of the globe to take care of its hemisphere. Don’t mistake the scurrying of some players for constructive efforts. They can smell which way the wind blows already.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
