What Heatwave?

Until about 5 days ago we had a couple of balmy days here in Austria. Not hot by any standard, but spring-like temperatures so people could go out without thick jackets. It’s April mind you. And newspapers far and wide already blared the “hottest April ever” message out. Today we had subzero temperatures – cold for April standards. All talk about climate has completely stopped as they have ridiculed themselves. But the headlines from one week ago remain in the archives and next year, everyone will have forgotten about the freezing we had in springtime. Everyone will only talk about the hot April. never mind that it never happened.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
