What’s the Green Fuel of the Future for Shipping?
How I like those pros/cons lists. So easy to compare stuff – ain’t it? It’s not if the most important factor of all is consistently left out. How much dough will we have to squeeze up for this? Because money matters and COVID just teaches us the reaches of state balance sheets are not infinite. We can mess around with electric vehicles for a while. Road vehicles have a lifetime much shorter than commercial ships which often go on to serve for almost half a century. I don’t expect the shipping industry to jump ship for the next funky fuel just yet. Their calculators are still functioning.
