Why US gas can’t solve Europe’s energy crisis

Thats true, but neither does the US want to. What most people like to forget is that the US does not have a National Oil Company or similar. It’s all private business and while those energy companies sure have their say on Capitol Hill, it’s still extremely limited and in competition with countless other, sometimes better-funded interests. Europe can only solve its energy problems by itself, actually, it’s the single countries that must do that. I propose shale and nuclear. Any takers?
