Wind power is buying eagle-kill indulgences

Imagine the irony: in the age of performative environmentalism, real protection for endangered species—majestic eagles included—can be neatly sidestepped by the very green laws supposedly designed to save the planet. Turns out, if your wings get shredded by a wind turbine, it’s not an environmental tragedy—it’s just “collateral damage” in the righteous war against fossil fuels. Birds of prey? Meh. As long as the blades are spinning and the carbon math checks out, the so-called eco-warriors are happy to look the other way. Because let’s be honest—this was never about nature; it was always about control, virtue, and the illusion of progress, no matter how many feathers hit the ground.
