Normally, politicians like Boris would try to rush through such pain and count on the fact that people forget so easily. Some small good news after the worst calamities will take care of it. But this is going to get worse every year. And the more people are dark and cold, the more they will want revenge when voting comes around again. The old mechanisms are about to run out of effectiveness.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
