Adnoc, GAIL seal long-term LNG supply deal

Smart move by ADNOC. The Seas around the Persian Gulf will become a lot more unsteady in the years to come also because the US has decided to cut its role as global policeman back. There is a natural protector over the seas of the Indian Ocean. That’s the local juggernaut India and India is not only a very large country, it’s also a country with a long tradition of owning and operating aircraft carriers. The Indian Navy may not be able to project power into every corner of the globe as the US Navy does but as long as it does not have to square off against the Americans, it is the undisputed master of the Arabian Seas. ADNOC vessels will have easy sailing.

India’s largest gas utility GAIL has signed a long-term deal to buy liquefied natural gas (LNG) from a unit of UAE's energy giant Adnoc.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
