Every member of the government including the president and also parliamentarians are employees of the people. They are paid by the people to do what must be done. And they owe us all the information of everything they do. Secrecy must be the exception – sadly it’s the rule. Imagine any member of the Trump cabinet would have been caught doing what is normal for Kerry and the other Biden appointees. Headlines would blare it from all news channels and there would be endless television debates. The Deep State exists in every country. We cannot avoid it but we can make the Deep State uncomfortable enough so they don’t act in total impunity.
