In theory, the first and most crucial task of any politician should be to care for the needs of the people in his/her constituency. Their personal fears and convictions should be pretty far in the back. And their personal advantage should not be there. Reality is the exact reverse. You can bet your bottom dollar that politicians will never forget to care for their own good and quickly throw their voters to the curb. But it’s not them I am mad at.
