Disgusting BBC Reporter Put in His Place By Guyana Leader

The Guyanese president is half right. He said that Guyana preserved their biodiversity when in fact they just could not pull themselves together to properly industrialize like other nations had done. I don’t think they did what they did (or did not) out of some morally superior motives. But whatever the reason, the result is that Guyana is a lot greener than the UK. Most European nations have largely deforested for development and other reasons. I grew up in a part of Austria that’s called the woods quarter. You won’t find too many woods there. Just the name remains. This was once such a wild land that imperial troops rarely ever ventured out there. All gone. We have nothing to tell the Guyanese. We better keep our lips firmly shut.
