EU climate chief Frans Timmermans: ‘Putin threatens Ukraine because he wants to divert attention from climate problem’

Wow, thats a mouthful. He really wants to sell us the story that Putin takes the biggest gamble of his life that might cost him his empire, brings untold economic pain onto his own people, and lays waste to an entire country including mass killings and all the other side effects of such a move because he wants to mask up a problem that has no feet to stand on? The sad part is that after the last couple of years I am almost convinced that Timmermans will find sympathetic ears. Quite a number actually. What does that say about us as a society?

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
