ExxonMobil makes first 2024 oil discovery in prolific Stabroek block offshore Guyana

The US is the number one oil producer by quite a margin. And shale is still growing as the technology gets a lot better and processes flesh themselves out to further reduce cost. At the same time, Guyana goes from discovery to discovery and Argentina seems to be serious about developing the Vaca Muerte shale. The Americas are increasingly a world apart from the rest in terms of stable, reliable, and yes, clean energy. The rest of us are stuck in our old ways and we seem to be incapable of repeating the advances the Americas make. What does that say about the prospects for re-industrialization in the rest of the world? The age of America has just started.
