Illustrating The Absurdity Of New York’s Energy Transition

Since I was a little boy, I had a fascination with New York. My father listened to Sinatra all the time and New York, New York was one of the first songs I memorized. Even before I spoke decent English. The Big Apple was the mother of cities and I was sure that whatever might eventually befall it, it would emerge stronger, bigger, and better. I am not sure about that anymore. The city has battled the riders of the apocalypse for decades now and only managed by a hair to pull through. We feel it made it when in fact, it’s already in the process of withering away for quite a while. This might be the biggest single blow yet. Cities rise, they peak and they fall because of their hubris. NY is no exception.
