Israel’s Energy Ministry mulls construction of LNG facility

I would call anyone in a situation as Israel is and looking at exporting energy resources deeply disturbed. Why would anyone want to do that? Israel is a net energy importer and those imports make it vulnerable. If I was living in such a hostile world and had the great luck of finding big volumes of Natural Gas under my soil, I would keep it all in the country and think hard about making good use of it while I reduce imports of other energy stuff. First of all, I would look at gasifying Israel’s heavy traffic. The technology is more than mature and Israel is a small country which makes building a network of fueling stations fast and easy. Think again Israel.
