What means “If it becomes an elite project”? It has been an elite project since the very beginning as for the average person, the lifestyle changes required by those policies are utterly unsustainable. And the chance that the vast majority of people will just swallow it without a peep is as close to zero as it gets. We still remember the Yellow Vest riots – do we? This was a stale appetizer to what will eventually hit all politicians. Some politicians take note. They want to win.
