Turns out that all those contraptions have a negative impact on flora and fauna. Who could have predicted that replacing one tiny power production facility with a whole landscape of windmills is going to impact wildlife? But it does and big time. Not only have hydrocarbons not destroyed the planet, they save it. Lots of renewable energy does actually destroy the planet for real. Time to adapt the narrative to real-world conditions.

Building large numbers of turbines will require concrete foundations to be laid in the seabed and cables to connect them to the mainland. It will affect species like porpoises.
