This Shell-backed project to ship vast volumes of liquid green hydrogen from Portugal to the Netherlands has been scrapped

The Hydrogen bubble pops wide open before it has even started to spread its wings. Looking at the figures the only feasible way for anyone to do anything like this is through massive government subsidies and they most certainly hoped they would be forthcoming but they did not. Governments are cash-strapped and throwing cash at virtue-signaling projects that will never ever be able to stand on their own feet is not a voter-getter. Hydrogen is over before it has begun, Electric Vehicles are on the way out and wind plus solar are on the ropes. They are not out yet but the going has gotten tough for them. Grab a beer and some popcorn.
