Even if all Americans united behind their president with the singular aim to change the climate it would not succeed. Heck, throw in the entire rest of the world and it would not work. Let’s go further – throw in all economic activity geared exclusively to the game of climate change – and it would not make a perceptible dent. One day we will have to climb down from the pedestal we have erected and admit that we cant meaningfully influence some natural processes. Until then we will suffer ever more.
