What happened when climate deniers met an AI chatbot?

I am old enough to have lived through a couple of scares – and survived them all to talk about it. Artificial Intelligence is just the latest of them. But what we like to call intelligence is nothing but a very sophisticated crutch and as any crutch, it only does what its inventor and partly what its user wants it to. Computers are very stupid – they only understand clear instructions and everything we experience as some form of intelligence is nothing but a simulation. It follows models and predictable patterns and can be gamed easier than a 4-year-old. Make no mistake – I am convinced that one day machines will achieve human levels of intelligence but that day is not now. That being said, if I look at the idiot spectrum part of the human species I am not so sure anymore.
