Why California’s climate disclosure law should doom green energy

The Oil & Gas industry has already started to leave the Sunshine State. How much of Chevron is still there? The majors are dropping acreage they have held for decades for pennies on the dollar just to get out. But 1 billion turnover is a pretty low yardstick for the upper league of companies. This means that other businesses will be affected pretty soon and as soon as some darlings of the green extremist club are being hammered for greenwashing which they eventually will, there will be a stampede. You can’t negotiate with people who have only one extremist goal no matter what the consequences. Compromise only means regrouping and attacking again. Trying to outsmart them will fail. California is on the road to Hell. We won’t stop them as we could not if we wanted.

California prides itself on being a leader with respect to tackling climate change. This is because they believe, albeit on shaky scientific grounds, that their citizens “already” face devastating consequences inflicted on them by manmade…
